Fabri-Quilt Production
Our hospitality products are fabricated at our 245,000 sq ft facility in North Kansas City, MO. We maintain quality standards throughout the production process and carefully inspect every product or sample prior to shipping. Our products are made with the highest quality materials, many of which are above industry standards.
We use the highest quality thread which is a polyester spun perma core. It has the most strength and a rough outside texture which gives it the best hold. It is harder to sew with and does cost more but the final product speaks for itself. Throughout the industry you’ll typically find filament thread. We also inventory a wide variety of thread colors so we can match your fabric accurately.
Another example of our high quality material is our fill which we use for bedding and other products. We produce ours from scratch using two kinds of raw polyester, high crimp and hollow fiber. What this means is that our fill has a higher loft, more resistance or spring back, and doesn’t breakdown from extensive laundering due to the resins we apply to each layer during production.
Our surge stitching is the best in the industry. Typically you’ll find surging which uses four threads or less but we use five threads with a safety stitch. This safety stitch goes inside of the exterior surge stitch to provide increased strength by getting a better bite on the fabric and keeping the pressure off of the outside surge which joins the two sides of the fabric.
